‘Lost’ Comes to ABC Thursdays
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, ABC, Lost, Announcements,
Good news, Lost fans. ABC has finally announced the show’s 2008 premiere date: Thursday, Jan. 31st.
That’s right. Thursday. The series will finally be moving to a plum day of the week. Granted, a few other programs will be going into repeats by that time —- but I have a feeling the producers won’t be complaining about a hand-me-down time slot.
Lost will air in Grey’s Anatomy’s former 9pm shift. It’s January debut will then be followed by ABC’s mid-season replacement, Eli Stone, @ 10pm.

Singer George Michael To Appear on ABC Show
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Prime Time, ABC,
Almost 10 years after his infamous public bathroom arrest, George Michael will once again be appearing on American television sets—but this time, he won’t be the subject of a news report. The singer is scheduled to appear in ABC’s mid-season drama, Eli Stone.
Stone stars Jonny Lee Miller (a.k.a. Angelina Jolie’s ex-husband #1) as a man who suffers hallucinations and believes he might be a prophet. (Seeing visions of George Michael singing ‘Faith’ will do that to a guy.) Although Michael was originally scheduled to be in the pilot only, the producers have since asked him to sing and act in two more episodes.
Interestingly enough, George told the BBC recently that he has been unsuccessful in giving up his marijuana habit. I wonder what ABC’s parent company (Disney) will think about that news…

Victor Garber to Star in ABC Legal Drama
Posted by Wendy Michaels Categories: Daytime, Prime Time, ABC,
Oh, Mr. Victor Garber, is there nothing you can’t do? Man, this guy seems to get deal after deal. Case in point, his latest gig on the ABC legal drama pilot Eli Stone. The show will also star Jonny Lee Miller, an attorney at a top San Francisco law firm. Oh yeah, and Miller’s character discovers that he might be a prophet. Garber is on hand as the senior partner at the firm and father to Eli Stone’s fiancee. Garber is fresh off the cancelled show Justice—also a legal drama. And, of course, who could forget him for his role on the ABC hit Alias? Garber has been nominated for six Emmys, three of which were for his role as Jack Bristow on Alias. And, oh my gosh, have you ever seen him as Daddy Warbucks in the 1999 TV movie Annie? Genius.
